Shari Gordon Named Vice President, Information Security Officer

Shari Gordon has been named Vice President, Information Security Officer at Pathfinder Bank, according to Daniel Phillips, Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer.

“We are pleased to acknowledge Shari’s hard work with this promotion,” said Phillips. “Her work ethic and determination, along with over three decades in the banking industry, have been beneficial to the course we have set for our organization’s future.”

In this new role, Gordon will manage the Bank’s Information Security program and review controls and events related to data management and cybersecurity. She will also continue to identify threats and controls to support the overall risk management strategies of the Bank.

Prior to joining Pathfinder Bank in 2010, Gordon served as Vice President, Bank Secrecy Act Officer and Security Officer for Alliance Bank. She also held multiple titles during her time at Oswego County National Bank, including Assistance Vice President, Compliance Officer. Gordon also acted as the BSA Officer, Security Officer and CRA Officer.

Gordon lives in Hannibal with her husband, Steve. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, crafts, photography and traveling.
